When I was capping some a while back it took me about 15~ mins zoning out of Sifhalla to find them. For a guildie it took all of 3 tries. Seems to be totally random.

I think it took me 10-15 re-zones before they spawned.

Its pure randomness, when i capped one for the menagerie it only took a few rezones to get them to spawn but then i didn't see them again for ages.

Olafstead is an easier charm as they are running towards you. But spawn is just as random.
And they always spawn when I don't have Charm Animal equipped.

They are running away from you, make sure to have some speedbuff on you. If you dont have any yourself you can equip 3 heroes with charge.
When I tried with no speedbuff I was chasing them over half the map. They kept being just so far away that the charm didnt activate, and eventually they dragged me into Koren Wildrunners mob and i died while they ran off. |

Basically as said it is luck, but I've found Sifhalla is the best place to zone in and out of (a speedboost isn't needed but helps) as you literally can just zone in and out, whilst Olafsted requires some running between zoning.

As i was said its random spawns.Mabe im lucky seem to see them all the time
I myself prefer the Black Moa in factions. And it looks much cooler to me. A good laugh with the black moa if you take it to just outside sunspear hall the guys are so scared of it .quite funny the conversation |

I got gw:en when it first came out and Ive never seen a white moa. Not once. Got the black moa on my sin, lots of fun, just wanted the white one for the collection now we have a menagerie to keep them in, unless that doesn't work how I think it should. This must be easier than trying to get a prof boss to spawn when you want to cap the elite

Just don't bring heroes/henchies, it'll spawn right outside, and it seems much more common if you don't bring them. I got it FIRST try doing that.

Just remember, once you start Charm Animal you don't have to follow, just stay stationary and let the charm skill do it's magic.
A lot of people forget this and chase after the white moa, breaking their charm animal activation and ruining their chances at getting them. I personally went for the Sifhalla one, it spawns right there outside the southern exit of Sifhalla. It appeared after about ten to fifteen minutes of re-zoning, so I'd say the actual chance/rate is very low, like 1-10% at most. |

Took me over an hour :s , they just wouldn't spawn for me. Then a guildie told me to try international district. It was probably a coincidence, but a few zones later I had my white moa.
